Shepherd hieb
Raised on red dirt and long white lines, Shepherd Hieb is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter born in a small Tennessee town and shaped by a childhood spent crossing the USA and globe as a military brat. With one boot planted in Southern soil and the other on the gas pedal, his sound roars to life somewhere between hard-driving Southern rock, gritty Americana, outlaw country, and heartland roots rock.
Inspired by the swagger of Lynyrd Skynyrd, the soul of the Allman Brothers Band, the groove of the Marshall Tucker Band, the harmony of the Eagles, and the modern fire of Blackberry Smoke—alongside the faith-fueled energy of Third Day and Audio Adrenaline—Shepherd blends searing guitar riffs with storytelling that hits home.
His songs are built from lived experience: backroad sunsets, blue-collar work ethic, wide-open highways, and the rumble of an engine in a classic Corvette Stingray chasing the horizon. With lyrics rooted in Christian faith, love of the outdoors, and the grit and grace of everyday life, Shepherd Hieb delivers music that’s equal parts raucous adventure, revival, road trip, and real-life testimony.
